AKTU in association with IES Research, Singapore organizes webinar for AKTU researchers to enhance research skills

More than 650 AKTU patrons participate in the webinar

The webinar focuses on READ-WRITE-DRAW-PROMOTE research

Lucknow, Friday, July 10, 2020: One of India’s premier educational institution, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow in association with IES Research, Singapore conducted a two-day webinar series for its patrons on READ-WRITE-DRAW-PROMOTE your research works. The two days webinar which concluded on Friday was conducted exclusively for patrons of AKTU to enhance their skills of reading, writing and promoting their research papers.

The webinar was hosted by MyLOFT team and conducted by subject experts from IES Research, Singapore.

Ms Yuvarani Nair, copywriter of impact writing; Ms Iris Hsu, consultant of research impact; Dr Woei Fuh Wong, consultant of research communication and Mr KC Tang, consultant of digital marketing guided more than 650 participants through four sessions on how to read full text structurally, how to write a good plain summary of research work, how to draw graphical abstracts and how to promote research work online.

AKTU aims to provide education, training and conduct research in fields of technical education in close association with industries. Nalanda e- Consortium is a project of the university, to promote the use of e-Resources to its affiliated institutions to get access an affordable cost. The aim of the consortium is to strengthen collection of e-Resources in every institution and to enable their faculty and students to access scholarly information on their fingertips.

Singapore based IES Research provides research publications through the adaptation of the “IES storyboard” of the big “WHY-WHY-What”. The organization designs visuals, animations to supplement research findings to maximize the understanding of the discoveries. Using social media it shares the research findings globally to improve research visibility and increase scholarly engagement.

Mark Ritchie, Vice President of Eclat Engineering which owns the MyLOFT brand said, “It has been very kind of IES Research to organize four sessions for AKTU patrons. We are hoping to conduct many more knowledge sharing webinars for students, researchers and faculty members in future.”
